DTLR - Misrepresentation of Company policy
I made a purchase just yesterday (160.00) and specifically asked the lady who was assisting me before I checked out what was the “return” policy. She stated and I quote, “ as long as you have the receipt and the shoe is unworn you can “return” within 30 days.
Well, I get home and try the shoes on again and realized that the shoes were not as comfortable as I thought they would be and something said look at the receipt and the receipt read “no cash refunds store exchanges only”. The store representative should have said that and she did not.
I asked what the “return” policy was not the “exchange” policy and there is a difference and that information should be disclosed in its entirety. I came to this store for the first time for one thing and now you’re going to make me spend my money at your store even though I don’t want anything else there....I paid by credit card btw...is it that bad that the company has to mis lead its customers to make money...really
